Cheryl,

Morales Funeral home originally had these records. Now Santana Funeral Home has them. Neither of them will give me information. My husband went with me to Morales Funeral home as he is a friend of the family. They still would not release any information. I have been searching for you for some time (I'm at ). Fannie was cremated. I don't recall the year, but I will look it up again. Jesse's headstone is now an unmarked plot. I walked the cemetery a couple times with some friends. No sign of which plot is his.

Over the years, there has been a lot of damage done out there. As I understand it, the cemetery was really nice until they put the railroad tracks through then all the unrulies came in and started messing with it.

Subject: Info on Houston cemetery

Hi everyone,

I just joined the list and am looking for the records and the graves
themselves for my great grandfather and his third wife. I have certified
copies of their death certificates which have the following info:

Jesse J. Jerome

b. 1873 Ohio
d. 3/29/1932 Jefferson Davis Hospital, Houston, TX
buried in Evergreen Cemetery
undertaker - Fogle-West Co, Houston, TX

Fannie Adel Jerome

b. 5/19/1868 PA
d. 3/10/1956 Houston, TX
burial - Hold
cemetery/crematory - Baylor Medical School
funeral director - Felix H Morales Funeral Home

Does anyone know if Baylor Medical School has a hospital? If Fannie was
there was it possible/probable that her body was donated to science or am I
interpreting this death certificate incorrectly?

I'm not sure that I have the correct info but I made several phone calls to
TX and was told that Fogle West was bought out by Morales Funeral home. But
they have been less than cooperative and I'm not sure that they really did
buy out FW.
