Subject: [TXCem] Idea for a cemetary project

I have an idea for a cemetery project and I'm wondering if anyone else
thinks it's a good idea as well. One of the biggest problems I've
encountered is looking into multiple lists of cemeteries from multiple
counties only to be frustrated by not finding anything.

What if we were to start a Texas Cemetary Census. We could create a
database of each individual along with the cemetery and additional data that
can be located. Since it would be in one large database a person would only
need to go to that one database instead of searching through file after
file. A list of cemeteries that had been entered could be accessible and
people with lists that hadn't been entered could submit them.

Now something like this may already exist, but if it does I would like
someone to let me know because I'd really like to see it. I've got numerous
missing people for whom I cannot find a cemetery record for.

If anyone is interested in something like this please write back.
