Tammy Blandino's idea re Cemetery Project sound great. I'm sort of computer-challenged, but I can physically go do cemetery research in my area and key in (MS Word) the information I collect off the headstones. If someone is spearheading the project, 'll be glad to help.

I live in Rockport, but frequently visit Corpus Christi, Alice, Goliad and occasionally go to Austin and the surrounding suburbs.

For a project like this it would be best to have an online secured database where one or a group of people
input the data after verifying that it is good info. It would take a while, but in the long run it would
make it possible to build other online applications to search and display the data to anyone interested. It
could even be a subscriber database that would help support the initial and future development.
