Go to www.findagrave.com In their find a cemetery search I put in "Oaks" in
the US and in Texas. It did come up with a map to the cemetery, off of 59.
It looks like take 59 out of Houston toward Lufkin. Looks like about 2/3 of
the way, the cemetery is off of 59 to the right.

I will be visiting Tx in March and am trying to find the resting place for
my best friend. The name is Oaks Cemetery, and it is listed as being in Polk
County. Its a small cemetery in the back woods off of 59 at the "Leggett"
exit. Does anyone have directions or know of a listing online for it? I am
looking for Steven NeSmith, who was in his 20s and died about 10 years ago.
I miss him still, and want to make sure and pay my respects while I am
nearby. We went to school together in Houston.
