Go to the state highway department and ask for a COUNTY ROAD MAP .. they are
very inexpensive and show all the back roads, cemeteries, churches, bridges,
etc. are marked. Great if you are hunting cemeteries .... TX-DOT
headquarters in Austin would also have them. The county office will have
them for that county plus all the other counties in Texas. Some counties,
like Harris and Bexar, will have more than one page to them. Nice size,
very readable, good price.
There are a couple of good atlases - one I particular like is The Roads
of Texas ... Shearer Publishing, 406 Post Oak RD in Fredericksburg TX 78624
1-800-458-3808

But you won't go wrong with the county road map from TX-DOT

Trevia.
