I've had several off-line requests for lists by county or city, and
look-ups.
The name of the book is "Monuments Commemorating the Centenary of Texas
Independence" published by the Centennial Commission in 1938. Maybe your
local library has it.
There are no lists by county or city, just pages and pages of marker
transcriptions, in NO order at all. There are thousands of names included
in the alphabetical index in the back of the book, of all the people listed
on markers or monuments. It is going to take me a long time to create lists
and maps by locality, but when I do I will post it on www.texasescapes.com .
You can go to the Texas Historical Commission Atlas at
http://atlas.thc.state.tx.us/ and pull up markers by counties. The ones
that are dated 1936 are centennial markers.
Hope that helps.
Sarah
