Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Southeast Collin County has a number of lots that
have not been maintained by the lot owner or heirs to a lot in years. This
cemetery has been in use since 1890 and not a perpetual care cemetery.
The directors understand these lots can be re-sold by following proper
rules. First I believe there has to be a notice placed in the paper and I'm
sure we need to refer to the law that allows a cemetery association to
re-sell a lot or space. Can anyone offer any guidelines? Thanks Kayren
