I would think it might be what time of year the census was taken and if
he was in residence in April or in June for instance. I found a number
of Army listings and state hospital listings over the years in 1920 and
now 1930. Look for the city it was located in.

Am hoping you folks with census expertise can answer this question. If a
person was enrolled at Texas A&M in 1910 how would locate them on a
census?
