Mrs. Janice Langford, president of the Texas UDC Division, visited New Mexico recently to inspect the Texas UDC-owned monument at San Marcial, New Mexico that commemorates Confederate soldiers KIA at the Battle of Valverde (2/21/1862). The monument erected in 1936 has suffered vandalism. To view images of her visit click here.
