Please be advised that I took her up on her offer to research NARA files
(from her posting on this listserve on 11 Jan 2005 3:44 PM) for my
great-grandfather's service records. She cashed my check, but has not sent
me any information nor has she responded to recent emails. I knew it was a
risk to trust someone I didn't know, but decided to give it a try.

If she were only busy, I'd have received a reply, but evidently this posting
was a scam. So, be forewarned.
