Personally appeared before me E.J. SLAUGHTER and W.H.ROSS, who being duly
sworn, on oath depose and say they are well acquainted with RACHEL GUNTER who
makes the foregoing application and statements, and have known HER for 24
years and 24 years, respectively, and know HER to be the identical person SHE
represents HERSELF to be, and that the statements made by HER are true, to
the best of their knowledge and belief, and they have no interest whatever in
HER claim.

OLD JOHN DREW OWNED ME BEFORE THE WAR.
I HAVE BEEN ENROLLED WITH THE CHEROKEE'S EVER SINCE THE FIRST ENROLLMENT.
MY MOTHER DID NOT HAVE ANY INDIAN BLOOD THAT I KNOW OF.
