Subject: [TX-FREEDMEN] Searching for descendants of enslaved/Colorado Co.
Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2007 06:15:04 +0800
Hello list. I am searching for others also researching these names:
Curtis Mathews, b. 1875 Colorado Co. Tx.
His parents most likely enslaved by John
or M.B. Mathews of same county.
AnaBell / Annie Belle Foster, b. 1926 Tarrant Co.,
Bryan Tx.
Mother is Texana Foster, b. about 1900, Bryan Tx.
Samuel Burrell, b. 1845. Wife Jane b. 1848. Brazos Co. Tx.
Living in City of Bryan, Tx. on 1880 census.
Ellen James, b. 1877, Colorado Co., Tx.
Mother is named Julia James, father unknown.
Thanks so much in advance for any communication any one here
can offer. I'd like to share notes and obtain more information about
the background of the families listed above. Especially the final resting
places of these individuals.
Have a great day!
Martha
