If you haven't already explored this site, I thought some members might be
interested in it.
The American Library of Congress web site has a map collection area that has
a
1639 map of the New York/Long Island area with an index of householders
names on it.

The main website address is:
http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/gmdhtml/gmdhome.html

Select "Discovery and Exploration", then "Geographic Location", then
"America",
then "United States--New York (State)--Manhattan (New York)".
You can then click on the map to enlarge it and zoom in to the index.
