Goodwin Killion and Jane Tharp are both reportedly buried in Anderson Co
(for certain Jane is). They arrived in TX in about 1839 and have quite a
family history in Anderson Co. There are still many of their descendants
living in the County. There will be a Killion reunion at Regan's Park in
Palestine at about 12 on Sep 25th. It is typically held on the last
Saturday in September each year. I unfortunately can't make it this
year.

A number of we Killion researchers have banded together to try and
"purify" the information out there on our ancestors as well as we can. I
have a web site of the first 4 generations of our composite effort. It
had been used primarily for family members verifying the accuracy and
completeness of what has been accumulated to date. This site is still
"under construction" as not all known data has yet been posted, but we
are at the point where it may be of value to others so a link to the
county page seems appropriate.
