Celia Johnson was my G Grandfather Nathan Bryant Johnsons sister. His other sister married this Garrett's brother. It's been awhile since I looked into this so I don't remember all the details.

This set of Johnsons came from somewhere in England, then to North Carolina, sailed into Galveston and finally ended up in Austin County. Their mother came to Texas by herself with six children, I believe. I have a suspicion that her husband had a land grant in that area. There is a N B Johnson with a land grant there.

My side of the Johnsons moved to Montgomery County Texas at Dacus. Nathans brother Robert Johnson lived at Shiro, Texas.
