Here's another one that has simular rolls -- the "Texas Adjutant General Service Records, 1836-1935" at -- http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/arc/service/indexa.html .


When doing a lookup, you might want to check both sites, because sometimes a person will show up on the rolls you've brought to our attention, and not on the rolls I've mentioned. And sometimes it's visa versa. Anyway, both seem worth a look, and your recommendation has a LOT more detail on the unit served in, etc. than the Attny. Gen. site.
