I have a family of seven - Eufinger - who arrived in Bastrop in 1846 from
Germany. They were Catholic. They supposedly farmed and one son taught
school. They next show up in St. Louis in 1850 with 2 missing.
Where could I find a list of cemetaries in the area dating back to this
period? Any thoughts or ideas on epidemics in this period?
Where could I find any information on schools in the area at this time.
I am afraid I do not know much about Bastrop during this period.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
