Dear Paula, Thank you again. My Brooks names would be William, Robert, John,
Finis, Richard. William was born in S.C. in 1823. He was the father of the
other 4 boys, whom were all, as far as i know, born in Ark and Tx They would
be caucasion. I dont know what happened to William after 1850, other than he
left Ark. and went to Tx. His former wife, Eliza divorced and remarried, and
he married a Sarah. In the 1860 census of Bastrop, she was a widow with the
children, and another son, also William i am assuming, died in the civil
war, and he might also have died in the same war. I just have no leads on
him after he remarried Sarah. Thank you so much for all help. My John C.
Williams was born in 1866 in Bastrop county along with his sister, Mary jane
was born in 1858 or 1859 in Bastrop county, and all i know of Eliza E. is
she was born in 1870, but do not know which county. Their mother Beckie
remains a mystery as we dont have a maiden name, Jessie and John and Eliza
were on 1880 census for Uvalde county and Beckie was shown as the childrens
mother and being born in Tenn. however, Jessie was a widower, and dont know
what happened to Beckie. She was not on the 1880 census, but the childrens
mother showed to be born in Tenn. and Jessie was born in Tenn. in 1838. I
dont even know when and where he died. Thank you again, and if you find
