Earlayne, I have never personally done research in Williamson County or
heard of Kinney's Fort. After searching my resources, I located substantial
information on "Kenney's Fort" near Round Rock in Williamson County:

name=Kenney's+Fort+Site+(41WM465)&class=&SEARCHTYPE=ATLAS
Also, you might have better success posting a query to the Williamson County
query page:

Good luck...

Joe, I'm sending you a letter that I received from my son, Michael Chance,
who lives in Round Rock and drives a Harley... he was out "off-roading" a
week ago and came upon a marker in a field... what follows is his report
from his second visit out there... I looked at the TxGenWeb pages for
Williamson County and didn't find any record of this site in their listing
of "lost" communities. What can you tell us about it?
