FYI, several of the TXGenWeb county sites have recently been put up for
adoption. (Most of the time, all 254 counties are spoken for!) If you
are interested in volunteering to be a county coordinator, check out the
TXGenWeb Orphan County site:

Of course, if you would like to ask any questions about the county
coordinator position, I will do my best to address them or you can send
e-mail to the program director at the above website. Naturally, all
positions are volunteer-based, so the biggest incentive is that it is
very interesting work! It definitely helps if the county is relevant to
your personal research, but you don't have to live there to be a
coordinator.
