GETS PERFECT STANDING

C.B. Davis of the railway mail service with headquarters in this
city, made a grade of 100 in the examinations conducted for
postal clerks running on the San Angelo branch, which was held in
this city during the past two days. Twelve men took the test,
all of whom were above the average mark.

The following standings were recorded:
Per cent
C.B Davis 100
F.C. Karback 98.82
R.E. Pace 96.87
A.W. Foster 98.45
L.B. Jenkins 99.82
S.F. McDonald 99.46
J.E. Neal 99.17
R.H. Ater 99.79
W.A. Tolivar 99.28
W.E. Cooper 99.42
E.C. McBurney 98.83
A.N. Stansell 98.92

C.B. Davis (1876-1943) was my grandfather. My grandmother used
to tell me that he never made less than 100% on any of his civil
service exams. :-) I thought there might be someone on the list
who was researching one of the families represented in this list.
