they have census data on this place, this year, this man? (note: there was
also a listing of an ISHAM COLLINS who was a visitor to the BELL CO. Poor
farm, texas. Was it to visit his ALVIS family? thanks, judy grimes, yorba

farmer, LA(?)
COLLINS, ELIZA, age 60, married, female, white,keep
house, LA(?)
COLLINS, WILLIAM, age 16,(born 1854), white, male,
farm labor , LA.
COLLINS, MARGARET, age 13, (born1857), white,
female, at home, TX

(note: Victoria asenath collins married louis taylor dodd in bowie co. 1871.
In 1870 she is in Limestone co. census, tx. fed, living in residence of a :
PENDERGAST, Davis McGee, attorney and his wife Mary COLLINS. she is listed as
a house laborer,( nanny, poor relation?)

( note: thought the william collins listed above might be William HENRY of
the 1860 census-but this HENRY was born in Texas. AS was Victoria. She told
her children she was born in Milam co. tx.)

(Note: clearly the william and margaret listed above are most likely,
grandchildren or nieces and nephews) ? Shadrack(brother of meshack) was in
Polk co. tx. in 1870 and Johnson collins, son of meshack was in Montgomery
co. in 1870.

jane POUNDS collins.
