There is a transcription of Ferguson Cemetery in "BELL COUNTY TOMBSTONE RECORDS, Vol 2", put out by the West Bell Genealogical Society and Bell County Historical
Commission. With their permission, we have that transcription online in our archives at:
ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/tx/bell/cemetery/ferguson.txt

There are several Fergusons on that list, but I did not see A.J. Of course, there are other cemeteries in the area around Sparks and Holland that you might check. Depending on when he died, it could be an unmarked grave. One thing to keep in mind about the transcription I am referring to is that it may actually be the Ferguson Cemetery which I have heard is the older part of Greathouse Cemetery. I am not certain if it is the one you are asking about.

I see Fergusons buried in Bartlett Cemetery (in nearby Williamson County), South Belton Cemetery, and Killeen Memorial Cemetery. Keep in mind there are a few cemeteries we have not yet added to our online archives, particularly the larger ones like Hillcrest in Temple and North Belton Cemetery.

Good luck...
