I have no idea who James Anderson Hanna/Hannah's parents are nor do I
know where he was born or raised. They married after 1880, there is no
1890 census and he apparently died before the 1900 census. I plan to go
back and look and see if he is possibly listed on the mortality census
for 1900. I did find his grave in the Oran Cemetery, Palo Pinto Co TX.

They had several children plus she had taken in her baby sister to
finish raising. Later Nancy Jane Coleman Hanna would move to Mangum,
Greer Co OK to be near that sister. The sister was Trannie Belle Coleman
Thrower. She married also in Palo Pinto Co, TX in 1899 to Oscar Chandler
Thrower who was from Whitt,Parker Co TX. Some of Oscar's family is
buried at the Whitt Cemetery just a few miles away.
