Try Fayette County Texas for your searches. I have seen Lovic Peirce Shaw listed in the census info there.

I am looking for Shaw's too. In fact, some of whom were in Fayette in the 1890's. Would be interested to know if there is any connection between my Shaw's and yours.

Specifically, I am looking for William Shaw and wife Olivia Powell Shaw (Children Maggie, Lula, Julian and Thomas Parker).
