The Bell County Museum has an extensive collection on Ma and Pa Ferguson.
In fact, they did have one whole room dedicated to the Fergusons until the
last change. I think I remember seeing a family Bible there in the exhibit.
You might call or write to them. I don't have the address but believe it
is at 100 N. Main Street, Belton, TX. The address is on the Bell County
Website. There is also quite a bit about them in the Story of Bell County
and The History of Bell County. They also have all three volumes of those
books. I am leaving town and may come back through Bell County on Monday.
But the Museum is closed on Mondays so I won't get to look.

Message Board Post:

I am a relative to PA & MA Ferguson, I have recently purchased the book "The
Fergusons of Texas" (1946) by Ouida Nalle. I am researching family history.
In the book Ouida, PA & MA's daughter, mentions alot about family genealogy,
she states there is an old tattered Bible once carried by Old Squire
Ferguson in the Cromwell campaigns and is a precious possesion of the
Fergusons of Texas. I would like to correspond with whomever is currently in
possesion of this Bible. Hopefully they could shed more light on our
Ferguson Ancestors.
