Found nothing on Samuel Lee Butler.
On the 1900 census, found a Nathan Butler listed as a boarder in the home of the Charles(?) Moore family, in Justice Precinct 2, Bell Co., TX, Page 78. This Nathan was 32 years old, born May 1868 in Georgia. Both his father and mother were listed as born in GA, also. In the column to indicate marital status. It either had an "M" or a "Wd". I couldn't read it. His occupation was listed as day laborer. I didn't find Nathan/Nathaniel on the 1920 census. I don't have an index for 1910.
In 1900, Aaron Butler was listed a couple of pages after Nathan, on page 80 B of Justice Prec. 2, Bell Co.,TX. He was also listed as a boarder. He was living in the home of Newton Proctor....
Aaron A. Butler boarder b. Aug. 1872, 27 yrs old Single born: GA father: GA mother: GA occupation farm laborer
In 1920, Aron Butler is living on Dalton Street in the town of Bartlett, Williamson Co., TX. He was a 49 year old widow, working as a lineman for the electric co., Born: GA, mother: GA father: GA. Also listed in his home are his daughter Thelma, age 17 single, and his mother Mary, age 74 widow, born: GA father: North Carolina, mother: GA
Good luck with your research.
