I have discovered a source online of the censuses, indexed, where you can
see the actual image and make a print---for free. That is HERITAGE QUEST.
I get it by going though my local library's website. I just have to be a
cardholder. You might find that your library has the same. I noticed,
though, that 1850 isn't there.

Also, your local LDS church genealogy library has the complete 1870 census
indexed on CD's in each location and the complete, every name, 1880 census.
And if you do a search on their online website, it also searches the 1880
census. That's at www.familysearch.org
