In King & Queen County, Virginia, there are records of a Barefoot family back in the early 1800's. Also in the cemeteries we've seen stones with that name. In searching the records for our family of Manns & Townleys we've seen that name time and time again. They are not part of our family. Might do some Virginia searching.
