I am working on the HOOD line from Bell Co., TX and am wondering if any of
my Hood or Sims/Simms would fit into your family line.

Tunis HOOD (1798-1852) and his wife Catherine Starnes (born 1799) had a
daughter, Elizabeth (1822-1891) who married James SIMMS. They were the
parents of Catherine "Katy" Sims and Volney "Harvey" Simms. these two
children were born about 1850-/52.

Please let me know if we are climbing the same family tree. I will gladly
exchange information.

May Sims Hood who once lived at Troy, Bell County and are buried at the
Roberts Cemetery. I have family ties to Ruthie May and would like to
