I don't think it could be that old, since I don't believe they printed
pictures on photo paper that early. I think Brady started the common use
of photos during the Civil War. The picture I have is labeled
"Grandfather Cooper," and that would make him the father of Harriett
Cooper Blodgett, born in Illinois in 1822, who moved to Bell County about
1861.
