Joyce,
There is a two page story in the volume one of the Story of Bell County
about Young's Fort Raid the Last Indian Fight by Bernetta Peeple. It talks
of the Casper (should be Cosper) It tells of the fight of an 11 man posse.
The posse included a Mr. Tumbaugh, Will Cathey, Milt Parker, Don Tankersley,
Tuck Boone, Jake Cosper, Jack Wilcox, Abe Ray, Dock Cosper, Hiram Teague and
G. B. Cross.

It talks about a horse stolen from the old Reverend Cosper's place.
If this is your Cosper family I will send you the story.
