That would be the County Clerk's office:

I located my great grandparents' 1883 marriage license there when I stopped
by a few years back. I recommend calling to check on the policy of
requesting records.

Good luck...

Subject: [TXBELL] Marriage Records

Hello,

Could anyone tell me where I would go in Bell Co. to obtain copies of
marriage records from 1879 and 1880? I'm not sure whether it would be the
county courthouse or the probate office as it is in some counties. Would I
need to write a letter to the or could I place a call to them to obtain the
records? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Eileen Rogers Mullins
