Surname: Martin, Wilson, Cowley, Woodard
-------------------------

I have found John Wesley Martin and his sister, Etta Josephine Martin on
both the 1850 and 1860 Bowie Co. census.
In 1850, they appear as John W. and Henretta J. Wilson, with a possible
younger brother shown as William Delaney Wilson, they were living with
a Francis Wilson, 35, TN. On the 1860 census, they are listed as John W.
Martin and Harriett Martin, and William L. Wilson and are living with James
and Maria Cowley's family as farm laborers. I can only assume their parents
are deceased, most likely having died after 1845, when William was born
in LA. I am still unable to locate any parents names for them. The 1900
and 1920 census shows John Wesley's son, William Joseph Martin living in
Bowie County, with a wife named Vivien, and two daughters, Annie and Vivien
(on the 1920 census). Does anyone have any information on these Martins,
Wilsons or Cowleys?? Thanks.
