I am looking for info on or a link to the Epperson families who were in Bowie
County 1840's-1920's. I am hoping to find a connection with my Joseph Epperson
bn abt 1795 Tn. I think he was in Haawkins Co. Tn before he moved to Coosa
Co.,Al. in the early 1830's. His son James H. Epperson( my gg-grandfather)bn
1824 Hawkins Co.,Tn. to Coosa with his father and mother in 1830's. He was
married to Nancy and Mary Blankenship and had children by both. His son
Washington L. Epperson moved from Shelby Co.,Al. to Bowie Co.
(Texarkana)1910-1920. He brought with him his sons:
Johnny,Benjamin,Emmett,Noah, and Colonel . He lived there until he died 1952.
I am looking for the Eppersons living in Bowie Co. before Washington came
there and were related somehow to our Epperson family who came there from Tn.
beginning in the 1840's.I need to detemine how they were related to my
ggg-grandfather Joseph. If you have any info that you can share with me,
please contact me. I will appreciate your help.
