Search and rescue dogs uncover the past at family cemetery

This is a lengthy article in which Don McCurry may have set out to find his family's history but with the help if his two dogs, he's found much more at the McCurry and Baker family graveyard near Wamba, Texas.

This article describes him enlisting the aid of dogs trained to find burial grounds for unmarked graves. Many have been found, inside and outside the marked boundry of the cemetery.

Sam McCurry and Sammy Wacasey have searched the Museum of Reginal History and are currently looking for information from anyone with knowledge of those possibly buried at this site. They are attempting to obtain a special historical designation for this site.

If you have any information which could possibly help them, please contact the Texarkana Gazette, Texarkana, Texas. or the Museum of Regional History. There is no information as to how to contact Sam McCurry or Sammy Wacasey in the article.

I have no connection to this family, but thought perhaps others might be able to help in this project.
