Researching the family of John Melton Franks he married Pearl Georgia Kingston and they had five daughters: Iva nell (my mother),Yvonne, Freddie, Betty, and Rose. They also had five sons: Doug ,John,William,Joe and Clayton "Cotton" Franks. They lived in Bowie County from the early 1930's .John Melton and Pearl died there to the best of our knowledge and are buried,we think, in New Boston. Any information would be greatly appreciated . Thank You.
