Subject: [TXBRAZOR-L] Brazoria County Census on CD's
Date: Sat, 10 Feb 2001 01:42:28 EST

Hello folks,

Normally I wouldn't post this to the list, BUT, I met this
gentleman at the GenTech Conference in Mesquite last weekend and we spoke
about materials for Brazoria County. Tonight I received email from him and
here is what he told me, it seems like a pretty good deal to me. If any one
is interested you can email him at

"I'm trying to organize my census microfilms, and I see that I have the
1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880 Brazoria County films on hand.

Do you suppose that there would be 10 or more members of the Brazoria
County Mail List who would be interested in purchasing a CD with the
scanned census images of 1850-1860-1870-1880 on it? The cost of the CD
would be $20 (includes shipping).

If anyone interested would just drop me an e-mail at ,
I'll scan these four years once there are at least 10 people who would want
to buy the CD.

The images would also be donated to the USGenWeb Archives for free,
permanent placement on-line.

Thanks,
John F. Schunk
