Robert Edmund King was born 26 March 1895 Coryell or Hamilton Co., TX,
son of John Thomas King and Fannie Isabelle Gaston. His grandparents William
Rufus King and Ellen McBride lived at Bowser, San Saba Co. and his uncle
Thomas J. McBride lived at Indian Creek, Brown Co.,TX.

In 1916, "Bob" married Nellie Johnson in Brown Co. They lived Taylor (or
Calahan Co.) where he worked for the Collins Ranch when he registered for
WWI draft at Abilene. His records soon transferred to Foard Co.

He may have later moved to Crosbyton or Fort Worth area. Family lost contact
and always searched for him: now the second generation would like to contact
his descendants and complete the family.
