I hope to find help from a local Texas citizen in the Brown Country area who would be interested in checking on the grave of Asa Marion Giddons who was a Lt. in the 14th Georgia Infantry. He moved to Brown County after the war. I've been researching this regiment for the past 3 year and have tried to locate and photograph as many graves of the men as I can find. The distant between Georgia and Texas prevents me from doing this with Asa Giddons grave. If anyone in the local area would be willing to check on the condition and photograph his marker I be greatly indebted to you, and would be willing to pay for any cost it might incur. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
