Mary Ann Brown and Ausey Wooldridge are my Grandparents. Their daughter Lillie Josephine Wooldridge Melton was my Mother. I recognize the name Purcell from the Brown genealogy, are you kin?
So far I have found no connection to William Franklin Brown, his daughter Sarah E. Brown was the first wife of William Hannah Wooldridge, Ausey's father but his mother was the second wife Sarah Josephine Rushing.
