I saw your posting about having information on the Packsaddle Mountain Indian Battle. Were two Battles fought there, one in 1859 and another August 4, 1873? Any information that you can provide will be appreciated. We understand that William K. Arnold was in the 1859 Battle, which the Whitlock family members were massacred. We find that some of our family oral history seems to change over the generations, but it has always provides good leads to check.
