wanda lee heaner nesloney was born 28 feb 1932 and died 26 apr 1948. she was the beloved daughter of zelma d. butler and cam hayne heaner. she was the sister of cam hester heaner, ward david heaner, alba frances heaner and frank lee hoyle.
wanda was a tragic victim of drowning, persumable brought on by a heart attack at the age of 16, while swimming in the guadalupe river.
while her husband was away serving in the u.s. navy, wanda was living with her mother, zelma butler heaner hoyle. mrs hoyle was a resident of luling at the time of wanda's death.
