Hi Tom,
Tom Brown Webb was my great-uncle. His brother Max was my grandfather. I am interested in the letter my Uncle Tom wrote, and any information it may contain.
I have traced my Webb line back, but have been able to locate a couple of siblings of my gg.grandfather, David Franklin Webb. One is Joseph T. Webb, the other a half brother, Thomas Jefferson Webb. Both were born in Rowan Co., NC.
I know Thomas J. "TH" came to Tx. and was in Gonzales Co. in 1900. After that, I lose him. One of his sons, Frank, was living with my gg.grandfather in 1920.

Any chance your grandfather, Eugene Webb, belonged to Joseph or Thomas Webb? (are we cousins?)
