One source of the Guidery surname is Tipperary, Ireland, from where many left in the 1840's and 1850's for USA, England and Australia. Name also spelt Guidera, Guider and Guidra.
If it is this family you have info on I would love to hear more.
Not to be confused with Guidry family who came to US and Canada from France or Belgium - You can look up Guidry and Guedry web-sites for more info on these families.
