Has anyone any information on or know the family of Nell Ray Tugwell
from Queen City? How about Muriel Polly Ray or Margaret Truwell?
These three DAR members went in under the Patriot, John Stone. I suspect
that he was the grandfather of my James Napoleon Stone who married
Amanda Brockman Taylor in Cass Co. in 1865. James' father was Thomas
Jefferson Stone who married Sallie (Kendrick or Fox). James and Amanda
were parents of my gr. grandmother Sallie K.Stone who married William
Bedford Walker. They lived in Atlanta on Hiram St. when she died in
1961. Other names I am researching are:
White
Maxwell
Griffin
Stephens
Bailey
