Good morning, I am trying to locate information on the Drake Family of Cass
County Texas. My great grandfather lived and was married in Cass to Laurdina
(Louvondia, Lucindy, not sure of the spelling of her first name) Warren in
1860, this information is listed at the Cass County Court House. I do have a
copy of this.

On the Assessment of property taxes for Cass, my research show that the
family
owned land, my records indicated 1882( listed are George, also a Wade Drake
this
may have been George's father) throughout 1910 + these are the only years
I
have microfilm this far, George I think dies around 1906 because after this
time
he is not listed as head of the household, but his wife is listed. Also the
grantee is listed as John Styles (1800's) and later Dan Mckay (1900's).

On the 1900 Census all the family member are listed names birthday dates as
well that they went to school and could read and write,. Thank you happily
