I have recently purchased the CASS COUNTY COURT RECORD publication, which
has been very helpful. I discovered in the Probate Birth Section a reference
to my great aunt Pearl HARE's birth record--father, Jack HARE; mother,
Martha HODGE. Unfortunately no other reference for the other children Martha
had -- Albert, Celia, Alice, Alvis.

My question is I called the Cass County Courthouse and got a fee schedule
of $11.00 for the probated birth record, and they told me I should put
down volume, page no., etc. That is not indicated on the record. Is there
anyway I can get that information, and/or is there any way I can avoid
the $11.00 fee by requesting this document from an archive commission for
Cass County or something of that nature?
