Was browsing thru this site. I believe I am decended from Joseph McCoy who was 9 years old in the 1880 census in Cass county. My grandfather was Joseph Franklin McCoy from Cass county. Had a brother named Reuben and a brother named Leon. There were other siblings also. When Joseph got married, his wife cut him off from his family for some reason. As a result Joseph`s kids were not familiar with their cass county relatives. They just knew bits and pieces. In the 1880 census Joseph was living with his grandparents. Don`t know who his parents were or where they were. Any help on this sure would be appreciated. Marylois
