Jesse Whittaker Nichols (1853-1919) was my great grandfather; he lived in Cass County for most of his life, and is buried in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. He was married to Arlie Hinton Pugh Nichols (her second marriage). I am trying to discern who Jesse's parents were. Also, my grandfather, Dood Nichols, was born in Cass County. I can't seem to find a single clue to my grandfather's existence, or his sister's, Lurie Nichols. Any help would be appreciated.
